The tests are divided into visual tests using the test pattern at shorter intervals and measurements to be carried out with the measuring instruments at longer intervals. The timing of the repetitions depends on the respective monitor class.
The scope of the tests at longer intervals is described here, points 1-7. Deviations of the measured values by more than 20% from the reference values of the new condition require troubleshooting. Until this has been done, the monitor should not be used for radiographic image evaluation. The monitor may continue to be used until the fault has been rectified if it complies with the limit values in the table of requirements.
The scope of the visual inspections is described here under points (a)-(hW). If an individual result deviates by more than 2 levels from the reference in (a) or (h), or if there is deterioration in any of the results from (b) to (g), corrective action must be taken. Until this has been done, the monitor should not be used for radiographic image evaluation
