This standard is a direct successor of EN 12543-5 and took over the improvements which were done for the ASTM E2903 - mainly the correct Klassens values of 50% to 84%, the calculation of the estimated uncertainty and the correction of the detector unsharpness.
Finally a classification table with the same classes as part 2 of this standard set is introduced.
