Let us start with the Practices about IQIs (Image Quality Indicator):

E746 Standard Practice for Determining Relative Image Quality Response of Industrial Radiographic Imaging Systems
E747 Standard Practice for Design, Manufacture and Material Grouping Classification of Wire Image Quality Indicators (IQI) Used for Radiology
E1025 Standard Practice for Design, Manufacture, and Material Grouping Classification of Hole-Type Image Quality Indicators (IQI) Used for Radiology
E1647 Standard Practice for Determining Contrast Sensitivity in Radioscopy
E1817 Standard Practice for Controlling Quality of Radiological Examination by Using Representative Quality Indicators (RQIs)
E2002 Standard Practice for Determining Total Image Unsharpness in Radiology

E1735 Standard Practice for Determining Relative Image Quality Response of Industrial Radiographic Imaging Systems from 4 to 25 MeV
with change in title from test method to practice in Nov 2019 ballot.

All these standards does not only describe the IQI itself, they also give instructions and regulations how to use the IQI within detail, e.g. the Duplex Wire IQI in E2002 has to be positioned at an angle of approximately 2° to 5° towards the pixel line or column orientation.

Hint: If you read "shall" in an ASTM standard have in your mind that this is mandatory to fullfil the standard; if you read "should" you should do it as described, but it is not mandatory.

Let us continue with the Practices about Technologies. This standards are one for one available for the 5 different technologies and give a clear instruction how to use and what limits the user has to keep.

E1255 Standard Practice for Radioscopy
E1570 Standard Practice for Computed Tomographic (CT) Examination
E1742 Standard Practice for Radiographic Examination (Film)
E2033 Standard Practice for Computed Radiology (Photostimulable Luminescence Method) (CR)
E2698 Standard Practice for Radiological Examination with DDAs

Following applications have their own Practices:

E 801 Standard Practice for Controlling Quality of Radiological Examination of Electronic Devices
E1030 Standard Practice for Radiographic Examination of Metallic Castings
E1161 Standard Practice for Radiologic Examination of Semiconductors and Electronic Components
E1416 Standard Practice for Radioscopic Examination of Weldments
E1734 Standard Practice for Radioscopic Examination of Castings
E1814 Standard Practice for Computed Tomographic (CT) Examination of Castings
E2104 Standard Practice for Radiographic Examination of Advanced Aero and Turbine Materials and Components
E2662 Standard Practice for Radiographic Examination of Flat Panel Composites and Sandwich Core Materials Used in Aerospace Applications

There are three Practices for qualification* of three of the five technologies:

E1411 Standard Practice for Qualification of Radioscopic Systems (Realtime)
E2445 Standard Practice for Performance Evaluation and Long-Term Stability of CR Systems
E2737 Standard Practice for DDA Performance Evaluation and Long-Term Stability
*qualifications means: Performance Evaluation and Long-Term Stability Tests

Two for Characterization
E2446 Standard Practice for Classification of Computed Radiology Systems (CR)
E2597 Standard Practice for Classification of Digital Detector Arrays (DDA)

And one for "human eye"
E3168 Determining Low-Contrast Visual Acuity of Radiographic Interpreters (Film)
